Objective:
This course is aimed at reservoir engineers, production technologists, stimulation engineers and production chemists concerned with limiting or removing formation damage from the wellbore or near wellbore area. Basic familiarity with field pumping operations will be assumed.
Course Description:
The objective of this course is to identify generic formation damage mechanisms and the correct chemical methods to treat each case. The course emphasizes the role of well performance and the impact of formation damage skin on well PI. The practical impact of various forms of damage will be examined using the WellFlo module incorporated within the FloSystem suite of production optimization software.
