COURSE DESCRIPTION

Various challenges facing the industry today is not only related in terms of producing and marketing a product, to be able to maintain its production in accordance with the targets launched need to be supported by equipment – equipment that energized supporters. Thus it is necessary to provide learning to the company’s resources to be able to operate, maintain and repair electrical equipment.

This training is intended for technicians and engineers from various industries in their daily charge of generation, distribution systems, operation and maintenance of electric power distribution system.

This training will discuss, among other components of the generation, distribution, variations in the distribution topology, optimization and efficiency of electricity distribution systems, protection systems a variety of electrical equipment (generators, motors, transformers, network, etc.), and grounding system. This training will also be discussed in more depth about the distribution of electric power systems.

The objectives of this training about :

1. Provide an understanding to the participants of the technology of electric energy generation and distribution as well as operational systems.
2. Improve understanding of the training participants will be knowledgeable about the components of the generation and distribution systems and electrical protection systems.
3. Improve knowledge of the operation of power generation and distribution of good and true.
4. Improve understanding of optimization and efficiency of power distribution systems
5. Provide knowledge of how opersionalisasi maintenance and repair of power systems and power distribution.

6. Grounding system and ground resistance measurements
7. Lightning Protection System for electrical Distribution system Facilities
8. Design and Calculation of Lightning Protection System
9. Instrumentation and measurement of Power Distribution System
10. Compensation and Power Factor Correction
11. Protection System for Power Distribution (Generator, Motor, Transformator, Transmission and Distribution system )

1. Coordination of Protection System Fundamentals
2. Short Circuit Theory and Terminology
3. Circuit Breakers (characteristic and application)
4. Overview of Computer Simulation Software for Electrical Power Generation and Distribution System
